Top 5 Travel and Local Android Apps in Greece for Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw notable trends among the top 5 Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Greece. Here’s a closer look at their performance metrics, including weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

FREENOW - Taxi and more experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 10.8K in late June and dropping to around 6.3K by the end of September. Active users saw a gradual decline from about 32.6K at the beginning of the quarter to roughly 27.7K by the end.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a peak in weekly downloads at 10.2K in mid-July, which steadily decreased to just over 3.2K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, starting at about 91.2K and ending at approximately 87.6K.

OASA Telematics showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, beginning with 3.1K in late June and reaching a peak of 4.7K in mid-September. Active users also saw a steady rise from around 35.7K to 37.5K over the quarter.

Aegean Airlines maintained a relatively stable download rate, peaking at about 4.4K in late August and ending the quarter at around 3.1K. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around the 12.7K mark throughout the quarter.

Ferryhopper - The Ferries App experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from a high of 5K in early August to just 649 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 6.9K and decreasing to about 3.6K by the end of the quarter.
